Nobel Sustainability Trust Foundation (NSTF) Announces the 2022 Sustainability Award Recipients
The Nobel Sustainability Trust Foundation (NSTF) is pleased to announce the recipients of “The Sustainability Award – Outstanding Contribution in Sustainability” for the year 2022. This prestigious award honors individuals who have made exceptional and long-standing contributions to advancing sustainability, addressing climate change, and fostering global cooperation for a more sustainable future.

The principal awardee for 2022 is Mr. Xie Zhenhua, Special Envoy for Climate Change of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People’s Republic of China. Mr. Xie is internationally recognized for his tremendous contributions to addressing global climate change, particularly through his leadership in climate negotiations and his efforts to build bridges of cooperation between nations. His dedication has significantly advanced international dialogue and agreements on climate action, making him one of the most influential figures in the global sustainability movement.

In addition, the Nobel Sustainability Trust Foundation awarded Medals of Outstanding Contribution in Sustainability to two distinguished leaders: Dr. Zheng Wu and Mr. Collin O’Mara.

Dr. Zheng Wu has been recognized for his remarkable academic and practical contributions to sustainable development and climate action, which have had wide-reaching impact over many years.

Mr. Collin O’Mara, a prominent advocate for environmental conservation and climate policy, has been honored for his tireless efforts in promoting climate resilience, biodiversity protection, and long-term sustainability initiatives.
