Award Selection Committees

Two selection committees are in charge of evaluating the nominations and selecting the awardees under the coordination of the Institute for Advanced Study of the Technical University of Munich (TUM-IAS).

  • International Pre-Selection Committee

The international Pre-Selection Committee consists of 10 to 15 international professors, researchers, and entrepreneurs. These highly renowned experts are identified yearly by the NST and TUM depending on the topics of the award.

  • TUM Final Selection Committee

The TUM Final Selection Committee is composed of professors from different TUM Schools and institutions who are familiar with sustainability-related research and entrepreneurship.
